Harriet Leyland

Harriet is a Registered Nurse, qualified in neonatal specialty, bringing six years of experience gained in both NICU and SCU settings. During her clinical roles, she served as a Link Nurse for Family Integrated Care (FIC) and Developmental Care, reflecting her commitment to improving the experience of babies and their families.

Harriet joined the Network in 2023 as a Care Coordinator, where she is dedicated to supporting the implementation of Family Integrated Care across neonatal units in the East Midlands. In her role, she also works closely with local teams to help units achieve both Baby Friendly Initiative accreditation and the Bliss Baby Charter Standards, ensuring high‑quality, family‑centred neonatal care across the region.
