Kim Hastings

Kim is a registered nurse qualified in neonatal speciality. She has worked at a level two local neonatal unit for almost 15 years since qualifying as a paediatric nurse, where she has been an infant feeding lead for almost the last 4 years, supporting the Baby Friendly Accreditation programme. She also works for Baby Friendly as a Senior Professional Officer with the UNICEF UK team and is the current NIFN lead for the East Midlands. Her current role is Care Coordinator, where she is passionate about the implementation of Family Integrated Care for all neonatal units and families across the East Midlands. As Care Coordinator, Kim will also support the units to achieve Baby Friendly Initiative and Bliss Baby Charter Accreditation.
